Welcome To MasculineInteriors.com
Welcome to MasculineInteriors.com, brought to you by Stickpin Media (aka Christian Chensvold).
Here I hope to bring to the topic of men’s interior spaces the same approach I’ve taken with style blogging for the past decade with Dandyism.net, Ivy-Style.com and GolfStyle.guru: variety and flexibility within a narrow topic.
I plan to celebrate all the places where men make themselves comfortable in an elegant and stylish way, from bachelor pads to college dorms, high-rise offices to fraternal clubs, drawing on cinematic sets as much as real life, the traditional as well as modern, from British Colonial style in India to the swingin’ pad of Don Draper. The “Trappings” category will feature a variety items that I think are stylish and that echo the world of menswear, as in the post on Restoration Hardware’s collar displays and hat molds. The ultimate goal of all the mish-mash will be a steady flow of curated inspiration for the reader, a home-focused blog for the #menswear crowd.
Looking forward to many manly interiors to inspire my own apartmental tinkering and refining
This is great! This fills a void for a man-centric design site.
Bogey looks positively Philistine in this setting. Keep the creative juices percolating, Chensvold!
Nice shout-out from Kempt and can certainly understand why they didn’t choose Bogie for the image:

The best masculine interior that I have ever seen was Cary Grant’s home in the movie “The Philadelphia Story”. Great furnishings anda very comfortable layout. I only wish they showed more then the living room and foyer
Agreed! A wonderful feast for the senses here and lots of inspiration too. Looking forward to reading through everything posted so far this evening.
Best Regards,
